Funeral services for Willie Russell Davis, 94, of Delhi, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Dunn Baptist Church, Dunn, LA with Bro. Eddie Fuller and Bro. Bernard Duchesne officiating. Interment followed in the Faith Memorial Park Cemetery, Delhi, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mr. Willie was born August 5, 1927 in Crowville, LA and passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 in Delhi, LA after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Willie enjoyed going hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Parks Davis; parents, Willie C. and Rebecca Davis; and his 10-brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his children, Rebecca “Becky” Morris, Little Bruce Davis, and Susan Tucker and husband, Roy; grandchildren, Christy Gallagher, Russell E. Morris, Little Bruce Davis, Greg Morris, Kenneth Tucker, and Dawn Davis; 7-great grandchildren and 2-great-great grandchildren; and his sister-in-law, Mary Ann Parks.
Pallbearers were Troy Thomas, John Thomas, Troy Thomas, Jr., Howard Evans, R.L. Lester, Jessie Nielsen, and Bubba Perry.
