William Ed Waltman

Funeral service for William Ed Waltman, 81, of Mer Rouge, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Bill Bearden officiating. Burial will follow to the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home.

Mr. Waltman was born on April 17, 1939 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on October 12, 2020 in Mer Rouge, LA. He is preceded in death by his, parents, Jacob Waltman and Cora Brooks Hicks; and wife, Frances Hudson Waltman.

Survivors include his children, Billy Ed Waltman of Dennard, AR, Lorenda “Sissy” Baker of Oak Grove, LA, David B. Waltman and wife, Denice of West Monroe, LA, Judy Ray of Marion, LA, Keith Darrell Waltman and wife, Rebecca of Eudora, AR, Glen William Waltman and wife, Rex Ann of Oak Grove, LA, and Francene Evans of Oak Grove, LA. 15-grandchildren; 28-great grandchildren; and 3-great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Whittington, Landyn Smith, Jachob Waltman, Colby Waltman, Kenny Ray, David McCann and Caleb McWiggins.

Honorary pallbearer will be James Turner.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 4:30 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
