Obituary
Funeral service for William “Dewayne” Copeland, 61, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Goodwill Church of God, Oak Grove, LA with Bro. David Ford and Bro. Jason Strong officiating. Interment will be in the McGaha Cemetery, in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.
Mr. Dewayne was born on October 30, 1961 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, William Floyd Copeland; and niece, Bridget Nicole Copeland. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Copeland of Goodwill, LA; wife, Ann Copeland; son William Copeland, Jr.; stepdaughter, Christina Copeland and fiancé, Shane; sister, Linda Gayle Copeland and husband, James; brother, Wesley Copeland and wife, Cindy; granddaughter, Serenity Cox; and nieces and nephews, Dewey Copeland, Allison Copeland, and Candace Copeland Clark.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Goodwill Church of God, Oak Grove, LA.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Compton, Jeff Compton, Donald Sasser, Greg Carroll, Delton Stover, and Daniel Stover
Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Ray Griffin and Jacob Compton.
