William "Bill" Jenkins

Funeral service for William “Bill” Jenkins, 80, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, June 9, 2023 at Mt. Zion Church of God in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Jason Madden and Bro. Jason Donald officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Corner Cemetery in Forest, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove. 

Mr. Bill was born on August 12, 1942 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Mer Rouge, LA. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God. Brother Bill served in numerous roles at his church for many years. Brother Bill was faithfully devoted to the study of God’s Word.  He was a United States Coast Guard Veteran and enjoyed traveling and photography. He is preceded in death by his father, Sam Jenkins; and mother and stepfather, Zelma Rush and Owen Rush. 

Mr. Bill is survived by the Mt. Zion Church family and numerous family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jason Donald, Nathan Madden, Ralph Collum, Jr., Justin Paxton, Tommy Bonner, and Glen Coggins. 

Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Mt. Zion Church of God, Oak Grove, LA.
