Funeral services for Willard “Bill” William Henson, 95, of Carriere, MS were held at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 22, 2025 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Robert Wells officiating. Interment was in the Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Bill was born March 7, 1930 in Rayville, LA and passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Carriere, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Geneva Henson; parents, Lee and Martha Henson; and brothers, Earl Henson and Hershel Henson.

Survivors include his children, Estelle Wells (Robert), Mary Lou Nassans, Willard Henson, Jr. (Ruthie), Roy V. Henson (Cathy), Shirley A. Leon; and Roy V. Henson, II; 18-grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; siblings, Vivian Jefferies, Nadine Cork, and Hulet Henson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Johnny Bell, Dewayne Henson, Roy Henson, Hulet Henson, Robert Wells, and Nina Bumpers.
