Funeral services for Kay Shiers, 72, of Mangham, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Archibald Church of Christ, Archibald, LA with Bro. Terry Ware officiating. Interment was in the Hewitt Cemetery, Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Kay was born May 4, 1951 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 in Rayville, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Margie Wilson; brother-in-law, Carl Childress; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, L.C. and Erie Bell Shiers.

Survivors include her husband, W.O. Shiers of Mangham, LA; children, Brian Neal Shiers and wife, Mindi of Mangham, LA and Jay Dee Shiers of Mangham, LA; grandchildren, Emma Shiers, Kolby Shiers, and Maggee Shiers; siblings, Dixie Childress and Bill Wilson and wife, Brenda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were her nephews, Danny Wayne Childress, Mike Wilson, Bracy Wilson, Zack Wilson, “Little” Jesse Shiers, and Todd Duchesne.
