Funeral services for Wanda Joyce Taylor, 87, of Rayville, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 23, 2024 at Start Baptist Church, Start, LA with Bro. Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment was in the Start Cemetery, Start, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Wanda was born November 25, 1936 in Canton, TX and passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 in Rayville, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lorene Montgomery; husband, W.G. “Skinner” Taylor; and siblings, Morris Montgomery and J.B. Montgomery.

Survivors include her children, Brenda Taylor and William Glen “Bud” Taylor; grandchildren, Steve Parker, Jr., Amy Dickens, Alan Parker, and Bailey Montez; great grandchildren, Gavin Dickens, Ella Dickens, Brody Montez, Brooklynn Montez, Brianna Montez, and Bryson Montez; and sisters, Genett Moore and Genell Johnson.

Pallbearers were William Dickens, Steve Parker, Brody Montez, Gavin Dickens, Austin Davis, and Darren Johnson.
