Funeral services for Virginia Mills, 80, of Rayville, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Dr. Eddie Wren and Mr. Tim Morris officiating. Interment was in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Virginia was born December 19, 1942 in Tallulah, LA and passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rayville, LA. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and working on their farm, which included running to town for parts. Her family said she made the best pancakes and pies. Mrs. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Mills, Jr.; son, Sonny Mills; daughters, Cathy Mills Wilkerson and Debra Lois Mills; and parents, Orie and Jimmie Morris.

Survivors include her son, Cliff Mills and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Pete Jacobs, Sara Curry and husband, Michael, Ryan Wilkerson and wife, Kay Lynne, Bridget Mills, Andrew Mills and wife, Hope, Cole Mills and wife, Tayor, Kylie Simpson and husband, Luke, Caroline Mills and Connor Mills; great grandchildren, Avari Jacobs, Mason Hosea, Mills Hosea, Sonny Kyle Mills, Madelyn Palmer, Macklyn Wilkerson, and Barrett Mills; sisters, Elaine Malone, Betty Abrew and husband, Fred, and Brenda Evans and husband, Kelly; brother, Ted Morris and wife, Teresa; sisters-in-law, Ann Morris and Carolyn Boughton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Todd Morris, Tim Morris, Chris Morris, Jason Bruyninckx, Kyle Bruyninckx, Greg Malone, Ricky Morris, Ted Morris, Jr., Logan Morris, Jordan Morris, Ted Coenen, and Brad Coenen.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Kyle Bruyninckx and his nurse, Rhonda Johnson and Vera Ausberry, Carolyn Jackson, Hope James, Sue Siggers, and Gloria Parks for their special care they gave and to Mrs. Virginia.
