Graveside services for Venita C. Lawrence, 71, of Columbia, LA were held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA with Bro. Mark Parker officiating under the direction on Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Venita was born February 25, 1954 in Monroe, LA and passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Verlon E. Lawrence; brothers, Ronald Coonce, Michael Coonce, and Ricky Coonce; and parents, Erno and Ollie Coonce.

Survivors include her children, William Brad Lawrence of Columbia, LA, Paulina Collins of Calhoun, LA, and Paulette Phillips of Columbia, LA; 9-granchildren and 2-great grandchildren; sisters, Alicia Duke and husband, Johnny of El Paso, AR and Linda Greer of Russellville, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Pallbearers were T.J. Parker, Colby Parker, Anthony Parker, Brian Leon, Scotty May, Timmy Coonce, and Ronald Coonce, Jr.
