Funeral services for Van Dale Taylor, 74, of Rayville, LA were held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Buddy McGurk officiating. Interment was in the Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Van was born July 29, 1948 in Rayville, LA and passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in Alexandria, LA.

Mr. Van was a veteran with the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie “Dee” Taylor; parents, Robert and Elsie Taylor; and sister, Audrey Williamson.

Survivors include his children, Vance Taylor and wife, Jessica, Jamie Taylor and wife, Tracy, Robert Jonathan Taylor, Chad Andre Taylor and wife, Melissa, and Andrew Broque Taylor and wife, Meko; and 14-grandchildren and 4-great grandchildren.  

Pallbearers were his immediate family members and his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans in honor of Van Dale Taylor.
