Funeral services for Troy Brian Hendrix, 59, of Pioneer, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 11, 2026 at New Prospect Baptist Church, Pioneer, LA with Bro. Buddy McGurk officiating. Interment will be in Unity Cemetery, Pioneer, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA. 

Troy was born on August 13, 1966, in Delhi, LA and passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Berdie Hendrix; and maternal grandparents, William Albert and Ollie Mae Pylant.  

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Hazel McGurk Hendrix of Pioneer, LA; Children, Sierra Paige Jones (Dylan) of Oak Grove, LA, Dylan Hendrix (Brelee) of Oak Grove, LA, and Billy Jack Smith of Fort Lauderdale, FL.; Parents, Allen and Willene Hendrix; Brother, Scott Hendrix (Belinda) of Hernandez, MS; 4 Grandchildren, Ben, Addy, Wes and Colton.

Pallbearers are Brent Self, Adam Plunkett, Bodie Butts, Anthony Gwin, Phillip Windham, Wade Condrey, Greg Hendrix and Rickey Hendrix, Jr. 

Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M., Thursday, June 11, 2026 at New Prospect Baptist Church, Pioneer, LA.
