Mr. Tommy was born on January 13, 1943 in Fort Worth, TX and passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Thomas Tidwell; parents, Valley and Maybell Tidwell; and siblings, Jackie, Donnie, Vergie, Billy, and Alice.

Survivors include his son, Hamer Tidwell and wife, Juanita of Oak Grove, LA; daughter, Tammy Charles and husband, Lyle Zane of Kermit, TX; adopted son, Billy Goode and wife, Ruby of Kilbourne, LA; grandchildren, Paige Mapes, Triston Blake Hebert, Skyler Charles, Thomas Charles, Lydia Charles, Toni Charles, Alex Charles, Carmen Goodwin, Cameron Goodwin, Jackson Goodwin, Olivia O’Neal, Haley Parker, Emily Parker, Logan Brown, Jimmy Brown, and Cheyenne Dupree and fiancé, Shawn Evans; brother, Vernon Tidwell; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Kitty Compton; sister-in-law, Janet Fergerson; and nephew, Jacob Compton.
