Thomas "Buddy" Driver

Funeral service for Thomas “Buddy” Driver, Jr., 83, of Lake Providence, LA was held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 5, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Jay Simms officiating. Interment followed to New Forest Cemetery in Forest, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Buddy was born on August 11, 1937 in Lake Providence, LA and passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 in Lake Providence, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Austin Driver and Dora Driver; and sister, Laverne Godwin.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Driver of Lake Providence, LA; 2-children, Lisa Hughes and husband, Buddy of Mangham, LA and Whit Driver and wife, Mary of Pioneer, LA; 4-grandchildren, Kaley Hughes, Alyssa Hughes, Trudy Manning, and Jack Driver; 3-great grandchildren; 2-siblings, Wayne Driver and wife, Glenda and Wanda Cummings; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were John White, Charlie Paris, Kevin Albritton, John Elliot, Chris Stephens, and Jack Driver.

Honorary pallbearer was Johnny Driver.

Visitation was held Monday, July 5, 2021 10AM-2PM at the funeral home.
