Funeral services for Thelma D. Free Roberts, 84, of Rayville, LA were held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the Cedar Baptist Church, Archibald, LA with Bro. William Waller officiating. Interment followed in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Thelma was born December 9, 1936 in Archibald, LA and passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in West Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ray Roberts; parents, James and Tennie Free; sister, Dorothy Stakes; and brothers-in-law, Robert Gildersleeve and Lloyd Stakes.

Survivors include her brother, James Free and wife, Erma of Bastrop; sister, Alice Gildersleeve of Leesburg, VA; nieces, Cynthia Free and Becky Gildersleeve; and nephews, Michael Stakes and James Stakes.

Pallbearers were Rhett Gable, Lee Booth, Jr., Steve Gray, Terry Gray, Terry Gwin, and Bob Archibald.
