Funeral services for Texia F. Clark, 86, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Stacey Thomas officiating. Interment followed in the Greer Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Texia was born April 28, 1935 in Kennard, TX and passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 in Rayville, LA after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Texia is preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Clara Faye Wheeler; son, Buddy Langley; daughter, Wilma Reid; siblings, Richard Doss Wheeler, Dorothy June Johnson, Mary Jane Hayes, and James Alton Wheeler

Survivors include her husband, Ed Clark; daughters, Marie Hedin and Bruce Haywood and Ann Lowe and husband, DeWayne; stepdaughter, Sheila Holmes and husband, Johnny; stepson, Jimmy and Janice Garner; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; siblings, George Leon Wheeler, Linda Darlene Wheeler, Georgie Lee Kinsey, and Sarah Joyce Rubar; and her numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Pallbearers were Rusty Stuart, Randy Johnson, Doyle Clark, Russ Hogard, Dennis McKnight, and John Pippens.
