Funeral services for Sue Gibson, 85, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Archibald, LA with Bro. Brandon Penton and David Castleman officiating. Interment followed in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Sue was born July 13, 1935 in Archibald, LA and passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Sue was a member of First Baptist Church of Archibald. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Leo Gibson; parents; 4-sisters; 4-brothers; and her special nephew, Richard Lewis.

Survivors include her children, Roger Gibson and wife, Myrtis of Rayville, Beverly Joiner and husband, Randy of Rayville, and Danny Gibson and former daughter-in-law, Vicki Gibson of Rayville; grandchildren, Brandi N. Gibson and Lee Russell, Ashley Fife and husband, Danny, Chris Gibson and Natasha LeMoine, Landon Joiner, and Ryan Gibson and wife, Amanda; great grandchildren, Dalton Nobles, Johnna Dove, Hunter Boykin, Clint Fife, Tyler Fife, Elli Gibson, Drake Gibson, Abi Gibson, and Ryleigh Gibson; 3-great-great grandchildren; sister, Loraine Sanders of Riverside, TX; sister-in-law, Mary of Mt. Ida, AR; and special nephew,, Robert Gibson and wife, W.J. of Mangham.

Pallbearers were Chris Gibson, Landon Joiner, Ryan Gibson, Dalton Nobles, Hunter Boykin, Clint Fife, Tyler Fife, and Drake Gibson.

The family would like to express a special thank you to her caregiver, Natasha LeMoine and her primary care physician, Dr. Ronnie Hubbard.
