Stevie was born July 7, 1956 in Cleveland, TN and passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 in Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Cora Sturm; and infant sister, April Sturm.

Survivors include his wife of 7 years, DeWanna Sturm of Bastrop, LA; children, Shane Sturm of Lakeland, FL, Justin Sturm and wife, Briana of Adamsville, TN, and Katelyn Branum and husband, Billy of Savannah, TN; grandchildren, Channing Branum, Astrid Branum, and Bryson Barrells; stepchildren, LaWanna Spencer and fiancé, Joseph Morrow, Christian F. Carter and husband, Keith, and Jason Cody Spencer; siblings, David Sturm and wife, Donna, Christina Acuff, Darryl Sturm and wife, Julie; and Rook and wife, Claudia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
