Stanley "Buster" Martin Cardwell, Jr.

Memorial gathering for Stanley “Buster” Martin Cardwell, Jr., 80, of Pioneer, LA  will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Unity Baptist Church, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Thomas Boothe officiating.

Mr. Buster was born on February 20, 1943 in sondheimer, LA and passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2023 in Pioneer, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Martin Cardwell, Sr. and Bonnie Haynes Cardwell; and 2-brothers, Earnest Cardwell and James Cardwell.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Joan Cardwell of Pioneer, LA; children, William Jeffery Patton of Sonora, TX and Carlinda Patton Miles (Allen Sargent) of Oak Grove, LA; 5-grandchildren, David Dewayne Miles (Felicia Wooden), Lacie Miles Boothe (Derek), Lindsey Miles, Gavin Patton (Elizabeth) and Garrett Patton; 5-great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Cardwell; brothers, Frank Cardwell and Dwight Cardwell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
