Graveside services for Shirley Marie Janes McAlpin, 85 of Oak Grove, LA will be at 1:00P.M. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Keith Murray officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Ms. Shirley was born on July 8, 1938 in Janesville, LA and passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. She is preceded in death by her sons, Gregory Alan McAlpin and Jerry Doyle McAlpin; parents, Frank P. and Vera Ashcraft Janes; brother, Frank E. Janes; and sister, Barbara Ann Peoples.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Jeremy McAlpin and wife, Toni of Monroe, LA, Amber O’Keefe and husband, Chase of Calhoun, LA, Brady McAlpin of Monroe, LA, and Lindsey McAlpin of Monroe, LA; 10-great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Summarell and husband, Michael, and Marilyn Street and husband, Jimmy; and daughter-in-law, Cherie McAlpin.
