Funeral services for Roy Johnson, Jr, 62, of Oak Grove, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Rod Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Kilbourne Cemetery, Kilbourne, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.

Roy was born on October 17, 1963, in Lake Providence, LA and passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in Alexandria, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Johnson, Sr.; and brother, Darren Johnson.  

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Johnson; sister, Jennifer Thornhill and husband, Randall; and nephew, Garrett Thornhill.

Pallbearers are Jay Johnson, Allen Byran, Michael Bolton, Dewayne Sanders, Rodger Bolding and Scott Schrock.

Honorary pallbearers are Carroll Schrock, Jr. and Dave Holloway.  

Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Oak Grove, LA.
