Funeral services for Ronald E. Ivy, 75, of Rayville, LA were held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Cedar Baptist Church, Archibald, LA with Bro. Marvin Reiger officiating. Interment followed in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mr. Ronald was born January 30, 1945 in Rayville, LA and passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 in Rayville, LA.
Mr. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Myrtle Ivy; granddaughter, Willow Smith; brothers, John Ivy and Lavelle Ivy; and his sisters, Myrtice Taylor and Helen Hogard.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Linda Ivy of Rayville; children, Anunda Montez of Start, Anthony Ivy and wife, Shannon of Tulsa, OK, Patrick Ivy and wife, Elizabeth of Monroe, Shelly Ivy of Rayville, and Christopher Ivy and wife, Sarah of Delhi; 14-grandchildren and 8-great grandchildren; brothers, Clarence Ivy of Oak Ridge, Roger and wife, Barbara of Rayville, and Douglas Ivy and wife, Vickie of Lewisburg, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were William Ivy, Buddy Ivy, Todd Ivy, James Montez, Dale Garrison, and Branden Ivy.
