Memorial services for Ronald Ben Gonzales, 88, of Rayville, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Bro. Charles Ellzey and Mr. Terry Richardson officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Ronald was born February 9, 1937 in Monroe, LA and passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 in Rayville, LA.

He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelmarie Gonzales; parents, John and Florine Gonzales; mother and father-in-law, Charlie and Fannie Gammill; brothers-in-law, Hoss Gammill and Roy Richardson; and nephews, Steve Richardson and Randy Richardson.

Survivors include his children, Carmen E. Gonzales of Rayville, LA and John “J.C.” Charles Gonzales of Rayville, LA; sister, Jonnie Rae Richardson; brother, Ramon and Donna Gonzales; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Matthew Prine and the Northeast Louisiana Health Center staff and Richardson Medical Center staff for all the great care they gave Mr. Ronald.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, Rayville, LA.
