Rocco E. Guirlando

Funeral mass for Rocco E. Guirlando, 64, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Our Lady of Fatima Church, Monroe, LA with Father Joe Martina officiating. Interment will be in Holly Ridge Baptist Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Rocco was born December 26, 1960 in Monroe, LA and passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 in Monroe, LA with his family surrounding him.

Rocco was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church and member of Bartholomew Bass Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Rocco was preceded in death by his parents, Louis A. Guirlando and Betty Lou Morphis Guirlando; brother, Michael Patrick Guirlando; maternal grandparents, Viola and Lonnie Morphis; and paternal grandparents, Rocco and Virginia Guirlando.

Survivors include his brother, Tony Guirlando (Lora Sanderson Guirlando); nephews, Marco Anthony Guirlando, Garrett Riley Guirlando, and Reid Matthew Guirlando; numerous cousins and close cousin, Cathy Barragan; and his Godchildren, Barrett Causey, Brayden Causey, Brody Causey, Anna Clare Fontana Cooper, Joseph Corrent, Liz Elliott, and Erica Spring.

Pallbearers will be Marco Guirlando, Garrett Guirlando, Reid Guirlando, Joe Guirlando, Jr., Pat Hall, Roy Arthur, Richard Guidry, Robert Usery, and Mark Putman.

Honorary pallbearers are Rocky Guirlando, Gary Erickson, Nick Fontana, Drew Causey.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2025 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Monroe, LA.
