Funeral services for Robert Wayne Guess, 84 of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 1:00P.M., Tuesday January 2, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Jimbo Herring officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, in Oak Grove, LA  under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Robert was born on July 17, 1939 in Mooreville, MS and passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Guess; grandson, Robbie Christopher; parents, William and Hassie Guess; brother, Mark Guess; and sister, Doris Guess.

Survivors include his daughter, Robin Gates and husband, Cory of Oak Grove, LA; grandchildren, Derek Wheelington of Oak Grove, LA, Sydnie Lofton and husband Beaux of Start, LA, and Emily Gates of Monroe, LA; great grandchildren, Layton Christopher, Gabby Christopher, Alyia Colquette, Robbie Lane Wheelington, and Walker Wheelington; sister, Francis Rickman and husband, Dough; and brother, Jim Murr and wife, Tracey.

Pallbearers are Beanie Moss, Carl Butler, Michael Rawls, Danny Rainey, Randy Munn and Jeanie Boyd. 

Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Neal and Jerry Malone.

Visitation will be 11:00AM - 1:00PM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.
