Memorial service for Richard Allen Pope, Sr. age 92, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Brown-Holley Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA.  

Mr. Richard was born on October 8, 1927 in Monroe, LA. and passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019, in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Pope; parents, Jake and Frances Pope; 3-children, Richard Hunter Pope, John Richard Pope and Richard Allen Pope, Jr.; and brother, Robert Pope                                                                                                    

Survivors include his daughters, Rhonda Pardon of Oak Grove, LA and Wanda Helene Spencer and husband, Brian of Oak Grove, LA; brother, John Pope of Nashville, TN; 10-grandchildren, Wanda Hawthorne and husband, Jason, Willie Kimball and wife, Sandy, Denise Wilker and husband, Doug, Dianna Peacock and husband, Chris, Dewayne Pope and wife, Jennifer, Jesse Pope, Ruby Goode and husband, Billy, Mary Williams and husband, Ken, Rebecca Miles and husband, Winford and John Dupree; 19-great grandchildren; and 5-great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
