Graveside services for Rebecca Lynn Searcy Nations, 62, of Selma, NC will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA with Bro. Tim Allen officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Rebecca Lynn Searcy Nations died Friday, August 14, 2020 in Selma, NC. Becky, as she was known to family and friends was born on June 17, 1958 in Rayville, LA. Becky grew up in Baton Rouge and was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She was married February 23, 1979 to Michael Lynn Nations. Becky was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Smithfield, N.C. She was an avid reader and had a keen interest in the family genealogy.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joe L. Searcy.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Michael Nations; mother, Wanda Hanson Searcy; sisters, Lisa (Les) Roussel and Karen (Joe) DuBoulay; nieces, Katie Roussel Fiegel, Mary DuBoulay, and Emily DuBoulay; and nephew, Jeremy Roussel.
