Ralph Wayne Lovell, Jr.

Funeral services for Ralph Wayne Lovell, Jr., 59, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Providence Church, in Lake Providence, LA with Bro. Don Boyett officiating. Interment will follow to Providence Memorial Cemetery, Lake Providence, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA. 

Ralph was born on April 9, 1965, and passed away on November 18, 2024, in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Lovell; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Lou Lovell; maternal grandparents, Bill and Flora Bass; and his in-laws, Roy and Alma Jarrell.

 Professionally, Ralph served as a truck driver and was a former deputy of East Carroll Parish. His life outside work was marked by a passion for the outdoors, being an avid hunter and fisherman. He is remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, and Pop Pop.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Rhonda Lovell; his mother, Thelma Lovell; his sister, Sharon Drake; his sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Charles Roberson; his brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Benita Lovell; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Vickie and Jeffrey Beane; his daughter, Sarah Harris and son, Bradley Van Keuren and wife Lacee Williams; 4 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Providence Church, in Lake Providence, LA.
