Memorial services for Perry Adair Ellington, 68, of Mangham, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 26, 2025 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Brother John Skinner officiating.
Perry was born August 5, 1957 and passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in Alexandria, LA.
Perry was a member of the Archibald Church of Christ where he was the song leader for many years. he would travel to wherever there was a singing. He was the custodian and bus driver for many schools, Mangham, Rayville, Archibald, and Riverfield. He also drove the bus for Softball and Baseball games. Perry was a member of Mangham Fire Department. He had many loves. His pride and joy were his grandson, Zeke Ellington and his granddaughter, Eva Ellington and his nieces and nephews and all the rest of his family. Perry was preceded in death by his parents, George and Betty Ellington; and brother, Gene Ellington.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Debra Smith Ellington of Mangham, LA; son, Chris Ellington of Mangham, LA; grandchildren, Ezekiel Ellington and Eva Ellington; sister, Candy Rodriguez (Chris) of Choudrant, LA; brother, Roger Ellington (Zona) of Baskin, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
