Funeral services for Penny R. Johnston, 65, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 27, 2025 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Keith Evans officiating. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Penny was born October 31, 1959 and passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Monroe, LA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Moore.

Survivors include her sister, Angela Kanehl (Rayburn) of Tulsa, OK; brother, Harold Barmore of Sicily Island, LA; nieces, Haley Lunsford (Nathan), Kylie Brantley (Tristan); great nieces, Teigan Lunsford, Piper Lunsford; great nephew, Emmett Lunsford; aunt, Dorothy O’Neal. 

Pallbearers were Harold Barmore, Ben Morris, Chris O’Neal, Jared Schwindling, Tim Mooney, and Tristian O’Neal.
