Peggy Prine

Visitation for Peggy Ruth Prine, 62, of Oak Grove, LA was held at 5:00P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Lanes Ferry Baptist Church in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Oak Grove, LA.

Funeral service was held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Shreveport, LA with Rev. Mike Ray and Rev. Marvin Williams officiating. Interment followed to  Vivian Cemetery, in Vivian, LA.

Mrs. Peggy was born on September 23, 1958 in Shreveport, LA and passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Oak Grove, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Norma Moon.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Randy Prine of Oak Grove, LA; son, Hunter D. Prine of Oak Grove, LA; siblings, Tommy Moon and wife, Lisa of Oil City, LA, Karen Moody and husband, Carl of Oak Grove, LA, and Kenneth Moon of Blanchard, LA; aunts, Barbara “Aunt Bob” Robertson of Oak Grove, LA, and Lorene Carter “Aunt Lorene” of Shreveport, LA; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Colleen Burch.   

Pallbearers were Christian Eubanks, Shane Moody, Jeff Moody, Brandon Moody, Tyler Moody, Mickey Moon, Chad Moon, and Junior Moon.

Visitation was held Thursday, July 8, 2021 11AM-1PM at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
