Funeral services for Michael Tackett, 57, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at New Zion Baptist Church in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Shawn Corley officiating. Interment will follow to Redwing Cemetery in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home.

Mr. Michael was born on February 28, 1964 in Fort Worth, TX and passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Tackett; mother, Addie Faye Tackett Boyte and husband, James Boyte.

Survivors include his sisters, Belinda Spainhower and husband, Steve of Eros, LA, and Vicky Sanders and husband, Bill of Brandon, MS; nieces and nephews, Brad and wife, Jennifer, Jeff and wife Ginger, Laura and husband, Stephen, Amy, Steven and wife, Chrissy, and Blake; and 6-great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Stephen Snowberger, Mitchell Tackett, Brad Spainhower, Jeff Spainhower, Gary Kimball and Kevin Tackett.

Visitation will be 5:30P.M.–7:30 P.M. Friday, June 4, 2021 at the church.
