Funeral services for Melitta Maria DeVille, 77, of Arlington, TX were held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 14, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Mr. Jerry Bolin officiating. Interment was in the McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Melitta was born September 8, 1947 in Kornwestheim, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany and passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at her residence in Arlington, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Vernon DeVille; and mother, Melitta DeVille.

Survivors include her children, Ray DeVille of OK, Vernon DeVille of Mesquite, TX, Ronnie DeVille and wife, Josefina of Arlington, TX, Melitta Tarver and Norman Morgan of Soddy Daisy, TN, and Sharon Perkins and husband, Tim of Hemphill, TX; 11-grandchildren; 2-step grandchildren; 15-great grandchildren; 2-step great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruby Sanders and Eunice Clingan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Tim Perkins, Dillon Tarver, Katie DeVille, and Kevin DeVille.
