Maudie Christine Hughes McDaniel, 92, passed from this life on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Deerfield Nursing in Delhi, LA.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Bayou Macon Cemetery, in Pioneer, LA with Bro. Stephen Cripps officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Ms. Maudie was preceded in death by her husband, Perry McDaniel; son, Jimmy Ray McDaniel; parents, Bennie and Beulah Hughes; sisters, Dorothy Morris, Agnes Dugdale, Jessie Aaron; brothers, V.J. Hughes and Bennie Jack Hughes.

Those left to cherish her memories are son, Tommy Edwin McDaniel; brother, Willie B. Hughes; sisters, Daisy Chambless and Virginia Cripps and husband, Willie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Cripps, David Cripps, Bralyn Cripps, Jack Mosely, James Dugdale Jr., and Roy Anderson, Jr.
