Memorial gathering for Ms. Mattie Mae Hodges, age 79, of Oak Grove, LA; will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel, in Oak Grove. Under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Oak Grove, LA.

Ms. Mattie was born on August 22, 1939 in Weigate, TX. and passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Oak Grove, LA.  She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Cutris Dorsey; daughter, Gwen Prater; sisters, Emily Malanders, Eloise Perry, Mary Wallace, and Shirley Fincher; brothers, James Dorsey, Jr. and Jessey Dorsey.                                                                                                                      

 Survivors include her children, Lana Carroll and husband, Tommy of Oak Grove, LA, Langley Prater of Alexandria, LA, Corina (Prater) Andras of Purcell, OK. and Steve Hodges; grandchildren, Juanita Goodwin, Jessie Lane Goodwin, Amanda Gail Goodwin, Robert Andras, Kendra Robertson, Sam Hodges and Melissa Hodges; sister, Audrey Sistrunks; best friend, Elaine Sell; special friend, Earlie Jones and a host of nieces and nephews.
