Mary Frances (Hollingsworth) Bennett

Funeral services Mary Frances Bennett, 89, of Start, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Start Baptist Church, Start, LA with Bro. Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment was in the Start Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Mary was born May 9, 1933 in Newton, MS and passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 in Start, LA after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Felix Bennett; brother, Edward Hollingworth; and parents, Troy and Zelma Hollingworth.

Survivors include her children, Larry Bennett and wife, Betty of Start, LA; Kay Trisler and husband, Ken of Start, LA; Glen Bennett and wife, Connie of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Kim Clack; Kevin Bennett; Kelly King; Ronnie Bennett; Dr. Paul Trisler; Laura Mulhern; Greg Bennett; Jeff Bennett; Jerry Bennett; 21 – great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Dr. Paul Trisler, Cody Trisler, Kevin Bennett, Ronnie Bennett, Greg Bennett, Jeff Bennett, and Jerry Bennett.
