Funeral services for Mary Ann Yeates, 81, of Tallulah, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Alvin Stowe officiating. Interment was in the McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA.
Mrs. Mary was born February 27, 1943 in Bastrop, LA and passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 in Tallulah, LA. She was preceded in death by her son, Alvin Yeates; daughter, Angie Clark; and parents, Brodis and Nora Nolan.
Maw Maw loved her family more than anything. Her family is what made her happy. She made sure everyone was taken care of. Maw Maw was a God-fearing woman. She was so special to so many people. There will never be a better wife, Mom, and Grandmother than her.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Wayne Yeates; grandchildren, Wayne Clark and wife, Brittany, Michael Clark and wife, Heather, and Justin Yeates and fiance, Leah Chaney; great grandchildren, Lexis Garrett and husband, Austin, Will Clark, Brayden Clark, Kristin Johnston, Ethan Adler, Brendon Quon, William Thomas Clark, Savannah Yeates, and Melody Yeates; great-great grandchildren, Xander Garrett and Ila Faye Garrett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Justin Yeates, T.J. Nolan, Will Clark, Brendon Quon, Trey Yeates, and Chad Yeates.
