Mack "Barry" Borden, Sr.

Funeral services for Mack “Barry” Borden, Sr., 82, of Pioneer, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Kevin Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Campbell Cemetery, in Pioneer, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Barry was born on December 4, 1941, in Delhi, LA and passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Pioneer, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Borden; parents, Mackie and Mary “Chinkie” Borden; brother, Rodger Dale Borden; and sister, Rose McCandlish. Mr. Barry retired from the Louisiana Department of Transportation. He loved playing all musical instruments.

Survivors include his son, Mack B. Borden, Jr. of Bastrop, LA; 2-step daughters, Lynn Nichols of Pioneer, LA and Vickie Stovall of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law, Linda Borden of Oak Grove, LA; 7-grandchildren; and 14-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Patrick Borden, Remington Borden, Mason Borden, Carson Borden, Jeffery Simmons, and Luke Simmons.

Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.
