Funeral services for Louis Anthony Guirlando, 86, of Monroe, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 19, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Monroe, LA with Father Joe Martina officiating. Interment was in the St. Matthews Cemetery, Monroe, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Guirlando was born November 10, 1937 in Monroe, LA and passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Morphis Guirlando; son, Michael Patrick Guirlando; parents, Rocco and Virginia Guirlando; longtime companion, Rhetha Shoemaker; sisters, Liberta Sylvestri; Mary Guirlando; brothers, Joe Guirlando, Sr.; Victor Guirlando; Leon Guirlando; Rocco Guirlando, Jr.

Survivors include his children, Rocco Edward Guirlando; Tony Guirlando and wife, Lora Sanderson Guirlando; 3 – grandchildren, Marco Anthony Guirlando; Garrett Riley Guirlando; Reid Matthew Guirlando.

Pallbearers were Marco Guirlando, Garrett Guirlando, Reid Guirlando, Joe Guirlando, Jr., Rocco Sylvestri, Nick Fontana, and Richard Guidry.
