Funeral services for Linda Moody Thomas, 70, of Oak Grove, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Lanes Ferry Baptist Church, Lake Providence, LA with Bro. Mike Ray officiating. Interment will follow to Providence Memorial Cemetery, Lake Providence, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.

Linda was born on March 30, 1956, in Lake Providence, LA and passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, in Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Alexander Moody and Roberta Lee Stroud Moody; brothers, J.W. “Dub” Moody, Clarence “Junior” Moody, Jesse Wayne Moody, Harold Moody, Jerry Moody; sisters, Mary Ann Miller and Dorothy Adams; and nephew, Clarence Moody, Jr.

Survivors include her sisters, Mildred Moody Nolan, Barbara Caston, Wanda Daniels (David), Sheila Layton (Mitch); brothers, Charles Moody (Charlotte), Carl Moody (Karen), Michael Moody; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Brandon Moody, Tyler Moody, Garrett Meche, Josh Caston, Joey Moody, Jeff Moody, Shane Moody, Andrew Layton and Cason Salinas.

Honorary pallbearers are Sloan Salinas, Katie Meche, Summer Moody and Tasha Bartlett.  

Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Lanes Ferry Baptist Church, Lake Providence, LA.
