Leona Frith

Graveside services for Leona Frith, 93, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Kilbourne Cemetery, in Kilbourne, LA with Dustin Townsend officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Ms. Leona was born on April 10, 1930 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. Frith; parents, Jessie Aaron and Mattie Stoffer Aaron; daughters, Linda Chapman Coulter, Veronica Chapman McDaniel, son, Lance Chapman, step-daughter, Jean Frith Fortenberry, step-son, Kennith Frith, great granddaughter, Sasha Bradley; sisters, Lavelle Patrick and Verdell Glover; brothers, Luther Aaron and Bobby Aaron.

Ms. Leona was a homemaker, Sitter for the elderly, most of all a baby sitter which was her joy. She talked about all of them she had kept over the years. She said it was too many to count and she spoiled them all.   

Survived by son-in-law, Jerry Coulter; grandchildren, Donna Herron of Oak Grove; Teresa Lytle (James) of Kilbourne, Jimmy Matthews Jr. of Rogers, AR, Jody Matthews of Rogers, AR; 5-great grandchildren; 5-great-great grandchildren; 3-step children; Charlene Patrick, Mickey Soper, and Buddy Frith.

Pallbearers are James Lytle, James Lytle Jr., Shad Bradley Jr., Justin Coulter, Jody Matthews, and Jimmy Matthews Jr.
