Leo LaCaze age 82, a devoted Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle left this world to begin his heavenly journey on Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born January 31, 1938 in Natchitoches, LA and lived in West Carroll Parish for most of his life. He was a retired pipeliner for T. E. Mercer and his work took him all over the United States. He was a selfless person who gave to all and was always the “Good Samaritan”.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Antwine LaCaze and Lucy Luther LaCaze; sisters, Robbie Nell Minton and Maudie Lee Hemphill; brother, Luther LaCaze; nephew, Clinton Hemphill.
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Cheryl Calvert of Alexandria, La., his son, Robert and wife Angie LaCaze and grandsons, Taylor and Harrison, of Robbinsville, N.J.; sister, Vera “Pokey” Sanchez; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family and close friends will be held at Brown and Holley Funeral Home in Oak Grove on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Kilbourne Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Clyde Sanchez officiating.
