Funeral services for Lee Orville Freeland, 95, of Rayville, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 16, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Charles Ellzey and Sister Deanna Corbett officiating. Interment was in the Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Lee was born September 8, 1929 in Simsboro, LA and passed away Friday, September 13, 2024 in Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Lee was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville, LA. She was a past Sunday school teacher of the Adult Woman’s Class and a member of the Friday Night Gang. Mrs. Lee was preceded by her husband, Charles Vernon Freeland; sisters, Nelda Forrester, Evelyn Dorman, and Virginia Bowman; and parents, Jesse and Ethel Killen.

Survivors include her daughter, Martha Ann Wallace and husband, Les of Downsville, LA; granddaughters, Christina Cox of West Monroe, LA and Leisa Hill and husband, Chess of West Monroe, LA; great grandchildren, Madison Magee and husband, Luke, Kennedy Henry and husband, Trevor, Connor Hill and fiancée, Madelyn Graham, Olivia Hill, Brody Cox, Scarlett Hill, and Harrison Hill; great-great grandchildren, Kollyns Magee and Beckett Magee; sisters, Joyce Posey and Mary Killen; brothers, Durryl Killen, Jim and Mary Killen, and Jessie and Kathy Killen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Luke Magee, Connor Hill, Chess Hill, Harrison Hill, Brody Cox, Les Wallace, and Trevor Henry.

Honorary pallbearers were Joe Seymour and Mike Bowman.
