Larry R. Lingefelt

Larry Lingefelt left this home to go to his home in heaven on March 6, 2020, after a long illness in Monroe, LA. He was laid to rest in the Epps Cemetery. Larry was born November 15, 1956 in Delhi, LA. He was a lifelong resident of West Carroll parish. Went to Epps School where he graduated in 1975.

He worked in construction, farming, tire salesman, and heavy equipment operation. Larry was a Deacon at the New Prospect Baptist Church, Darnell, LA. He was married in 1979 to Patsy Floyd Lingefelt. They had two sons, Chris Lingefelt and wife, Jennifer and Adam Lingefelt and wife, Sarah. He now has 3-granddaughters, Morgan, Megan, and Marlee; as well as 2-grandsons, Abel and Owen; sister, Pam Guice and husband, Jeff; brother, Todd Lingefelt and wife, Cathy; 15- nieces and nephews; 5-aunts; host of cousins; a wonderful church family; and a host of friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Virdell and Gladys Lingefelt; sisters, Jeanette Tarver and Patricia Lingefelt; grandparents, Tommy and Martha Lingefelt and Frank and Mammie Walker; numerous aunts and uncles.

Funeral services for Larry Lingefelt were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the New Prospect Baptist Church, Darnell, LA with his pastor, Bro. Robin Cox and former pastor, Bro. Bobby Arnold officiating. Interment followed in the Epps Cemetery, Epps, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Pallbearers were Brad Lingefelt, Brad Hutchinson, Brandon McCowin, John Powell, John Boleware,  Will Butts, Thomas Lingefelt, and Josh Wilhite.

Honorary pallbearers were Allen Hendrix, Mark Miller, Joe Cleveland, Ralph Green, Larry Copes, and Donald Myers.
