Funeral services for Lance M. Pine, 53, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Rayville, LA with Dr. Justin Clark, Dr. Doug Broome, and Bro. Jimmy Pelley officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Lance was born June 2, 1971 in Starkville, MS and passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 in Shreveport, LA.
Lance was preceded in death by his father, Lynn Prine; grandmother, Ina Prine; great niece, Sunnie Perry; and uncle, Gene White.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Kellie Prine of Rayville, LA; children, Josh Allen Prine of Hattiesburg, MS, Lee Allison Prine of Rayville, LA, and Joy Anna Prine of Rayville, LA; mother, Barbara White Prine of Rayville, LA; mother and father-in-law, Jackie and Wayne Allen; brothers-in-law, David Allen and Matt Allen and wife, Samantha; nieces and nephews, Elexus Lee and husband, Josh and their 2 children; McKinley Perry and husband, Jaret, Adyson Allen, John Luke Allen, Riley Allen, and Reed Allen; and uncle Steve Marter.
Pallbearers were Craig Bane, Henry Gantz, David Johnson, John Mattison, Clay Moore, Brian Pickens, and Jeffrey Thornton.
Honorary pallbearers were all the past players that he coached.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Scholarship Fund of Mississippi or Louisiana Children's Home.
