Joyce Ann Ables

Funeral services for Joyce Ann Ables, 68, of Kilbourne, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 15, 2025, at Hill Baptist Church, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Yates officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.

Ms. Joyce was born on December 18, 1956, in Lake Village, AR and passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in Shreveport, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin “Benny” Ables; and parents, Ernest and Oma McEntire.  

 Survivors include her children, John Benjamin Ables and wife, Melynda and Timothy Eulan Ables and wife, Sabrina; grandchildren, Courtney, Jasper, Tyler, Zachary, Matthew, Gage, and Olivia; 1-great grandchild; brothers, Larry McEntire and wife, Nancy and Jerry McEntire and wife Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris Peacock, Jasper Ables, Gage Ables, Zachary Ables, Olivia Ables, Tyler Ables and Gary Haas.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Hill Baptist Church, in Oak Grove, LA.
