Memorial gathering for John "Johnny" W. Smith, Jr., 71 of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 6:00P.M., Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Paul Ninemire officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. John was born on December 31, 1951 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Smith, Sr. and Bertha Mae Roberts.

Survivors include his daughters, Aja Diamond Smith (Mason Capers) of Oak Grove, LA and Ali J. Smith (Shannon Haley) of Oak Grove, LA; grandchildren, Boston Pardon and Case Capers; sisters, Becky Bracey (Russell) of Forest, LA and Beverly Hodge (Bobby) of Oklahoma; brother, Estes Smith (Erika) of Germany; and several nieces and nephews.
