John White, Jr.

Funeral services for John White, Jr., 75, of Bastrop, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church, in Bastrop, LA with Bro. Charlie Gowin and Bro. Robert Gowin officiating. Interment will follow to Unity Cemetery, in Pioneer, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA 

Mr. John was born on March 28, 1949, in Delhi, LA and passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in Bastrop, LA. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy White; parents, John and Versie White; siblings, Betty Jo Whitstine, Shirley White, Cecelia Moore, Pearl Nolan, Bobbie Jean Ratliff, Clyde White, Clayton White, Sr., and Herman Lavelle.

Survivors include his wife, of 59 years, Betty Ann White of Bastrop, LA; children, Angelia Hutson and husband, Ricky of Bastrop, LA, and Alishia “Lisa” McGraw and husband, Brian of Swartz, LA; grandchildren, Brandon Scott Massingale and Curtis Allen McGraw; 13- great grandchildren; 1-great great grandchild; siblings, Yvonne Moore, Becky Plunkett and husband, Dobbin, Linda Stockton and husband, Vernon, and Randy White and wife; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Brandon Massingale, Curtis McGraw, Danial Hutson, Nick Hutson, Dusty Hubanks, and Landon Ebey.

Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Hutson, Brian McGraw, and Jay Guiterrez.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.
