Funeral services for Jo Ann Mercer, 71, of Mangham, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Lone Cherry Baptist Church, Mangham, LA with Bro. Doyle Adams officiating. Interment followed in the Lone Cherry Cemetery, Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Jo Ann was born June 30, 1950 and passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Mangham, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Sarah Murphy; and her brothers, Leslie Murphy and Bobby Murphy.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Billy Joe Mercer, Sr.; sons, Donald Abrams, Tracy Carter and wife, Kathryn Myers Carter, and Charles Free, Jr. and wife, Deana K. Free; grandchildren, Sara Abrams, Ryan Abrams, Krista Carter, Tyler Carter, and Samantha Free; 5-great grandchildren; and her siblings, Edward Murphy, Charles Murphy, and Dianne Murphy.

Pallbearers were Tyler Carter, Michael Murphy, and Bryant Murphy
