Graveside services for Jimmy Ray Matthews, Sr., 72, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Kilbourne Cemetery, in Kilbourne, LA with Bro. Ray Linder officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Jimmy was born on November 6, 1951, in Monroe, LA and passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Neva Matthews; sister, Linda Matthews; brother-in-law, Robert Duff; and grandson, James D. Ogden.

Survivors include his sons, James Ogden of Longview, TX; Jimmy Matthews, Jr. of Rogers, AR; Jody Matthews of Rogers, AR; grandson, Jamie Odgen; siblings, Regena Matthews Pardon and husband, Clifton; Larry Matthews and wife, Wanda; Sherry Duff and Johnny Goss; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12:00P.M.-1:45P.M., Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.
