Mr. Jimmy was born July 18, 1946 and passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in Rayville, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Dickerson; Edna and Leo Hebert; Louie and Dorothy Stokes; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila Barber and husband, O.C.; Becky Rawls and husband, David; and grandson, Jamie Dickerson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Calloway Dickerson; children, Jimmy Todd Dickerson and wife, Dawn; Brandi Freeman and husband, Michael; Leslie Franks and husband, Randy; Kelli Callaway and Jennifer; grandchildren, Denni Dickerson ,Haley Franks, Tyler Franks, Taylor Freeman and husband, Matt Boyd, Baily Freeman, Esther Dickerson; great grandchildren, Izzabella Eagan, Violet Eagan, Maggie Grissom, Claudia Grissom, Charlie Kay Boyd, Everlee Franks, Kason Franks, Clayton Lowry; Torryn Gwin; siblings, Deborah Skeen and husband, Butch; Danny Dickerson and significant other, Vicki Pepper; Jeanie Green and husband, Jack; Butch Stokes; Joey Stokes; Rene Jackson and husband, Curtis; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers were Dayne Johnson, Chris Barber, Dewayne Barber, Tommy Dickerson, Matt Boyd, Morgan Barbo, Tyler Franks, and Trey Stokes.
